Acid Rain Lesson Plan

Length

1 - 1.5 hours for lesson plus additional time to complete the experiment

Materials

  • Vinegar
  • Distilled water
  • Beakers
  • Eggshells
  • Green leaves
  • Paper clips
  • Litmus paper with comparison chart for reading
  • Oranges, cut into pieces
  • Tap water
  • Milk
  • Chart for each student to record predictions and observations of experiment after one day and one week
