Warm Up and Preparation

  • Ask students to consider what it may be like to grow up with a famous painter for a father and be surrounded by artists.
  • Have them record ideas into their notebooks, then divide them into partners to share.
  • Discuss as a whole class. Ask:
    • Would it be an advantage for an artist to grow up in this situation? Why or why not?
