Animal Testing Lesson Plan

Instructor: Mary Beth Burns

Mary Beth has taught 1st, 4th and 5th grade and has a specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She is currently an assistant principal.

In this lesson plan, students will examine the issue of animal testing. This lesson plan involves the students in activities that require critical thinking, such as writing an elevator speech summarizing their stance on the issue.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • Persuade an audience to support or oppose animal testing
  • Ask and answer questions about animal testing
