In math, arrays provide a visual representation of a multiplication problem in columns and rows. This asset provides hands-on opportunities for students to demonstrate their knowledge of arrays.

Arrays in Math

Multiplication problems may be visually represented in rows and columns called arrays. Arrays help students understand the mathematics behind the symbolic expression. These projects utilize interpersonal, kinesthetic, and visual learning styles to help students communicate what they have learned about arrays.

Find the Factors Quilt

For this project, students will be provided with a product from which they will identify possible factors and represent them using arrays.
