Banking System Lesson Plan

Tammy teaches business courses at the post-secondary and secondary level and has a master's of business administration in finance.

Using this lesson plan, students will explore financial institutions through watching an informative video, participating in discussion questions, performing a research project and presenting their findings to the class.

Learning Objectives

After this lesson, students will be able to:

  • Explain the banking system
  • Compare and contrast commercial banks and credit unions
  • Discuss depositor protection agencies
