Assignment Instructions for Students

The American Revolutionary War was fought between 1775 and 1883. In an essay, you'll need to identify:

  • Two major causes of the American Revolution
  • Two major effects of the American Revolution

Note: You cannot just choose 'independence' as a major effect. However, you can write about effects such as:

  • One of the changes in the government structure
  • An economic impact of the Revolution
  • A social impact of the Revolution
