Minnesota's Code of Ethics for Teachers

As a new teacher in Minnesota, Sam is excited and looking forward to his rewarding job! As a Minnesota educator, Sam is required to follow the Code of Ethics for Minnesota Teachers, as listed by Minnesota's Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board. As a teacher licensed by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board, Sam is expected to abide by this code. Fortunately for Sam and the other teachers in the school, they have the guidance of the school governing board on how the code of ethics can be proactively applied in the everyday school environment.
