Steps for Converting 1 Inch to Millimeters

We can convert from one unit to another by multiplying by the ratio that shows the relationship between the units. The following unit relationships will be used to convert from inches to millimeters.

1 inch = 2.54 centimeters
1 centimeter = 10 millimeters
