Direct Marketing Lesson Plan

This lesson plan provides you with a lesson, discussion questions, quiz, and extension that will help you teach your students about direct marketing. It also provides an activity that lets students design their own direct marketing campaign.

Learning Objectives

After completing this lesson, students will be able to:

  • Define direct marketing
  • Identify and describe the three main concepts relevant to direct marketing
  • Create their own direct marketing campaigns
  • Analyze a real-world direct marketing tactic for its effectiveness

45-90 minutes, without the activity and extension

Conduct short as well as more sustained research projects to answer a question (including a self-generated question) or solve a problem; narrow or broaden the inquiry when appropriate; synthesize multiple sources on the subject, demonstrating understanding of the subject under investigation.
