Delve into the interesting world of earthworms with your students. Introduce them to scientific terminology and different aspects of these unique decomposers through a trivia game.

Learning Objectives

After this lesson, students will be able to:

  • use scientific terms to describe the anatomy of an earthworm
  • explain how earthworms reproduce
  • describe the importance of earthworms to the ecosystem


This lesson will take approximately 60-90 minutes.
