ESL Advertising & Marketing Lesson Plan

Suzanne has taught all levels PK-graduate school and has a PhD in Instructional Systems Design. She currently teachers literacy courses to preservice and inservice teachers.

Through activities in this lesson plan, you will be able to help your ESL learners understand advertising and marketing terminology and approaches, through discussion and hands-on activities.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • identify and comprehend vocabulary related to advertising and marketing
  • utilize new vocabulary terms in discussions with peers
  • work collaboratively with peers
  • make a presentation to the class in English
  • apply new information learned about advertising and marketing
