ESL Business Meeting Lesson Plan

Instructor: Suzanne Rose

Suzanne has taught all levels PK-graduate school and has a PhD in Instructional Systems Design. She currently teachers literacy courses to preservice and inservice teachers.

Activities in this lesson plan will help you teach your English language learners what to expect in a business meeting, as well as supporting their learning of business meeting-focused vocabulary.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • identify and define vocabulary related to business meetings
  • utilize vocabulary appropriately in conversation
  • engage in productive discussions in a business meeting scenario
  • use English correctly in conversations
