Exercise to Music Lesson Plan

Adrianne has taught high school and college biology and has a master's degree in cancer biology.

Most preteens and teens like music. They will enjoy learning how the music they like can help to enhance an exercise routine as they learn and discuss new terms and create their own music playlist and exercise routines.

Learning Objectives

After this lesson, students will be able to:

  • Describe the types of music used for exercise
  • Explain how music can enhance exercise
  • Create an exercise playlist and routine
