Healthy Eating Lesson Plan

Instructor: Josh Corbat

Josh has taught Earth Science and Physical Science at the High School level and holds a Master of Education degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.

In this lesson, introduce students to healthy eating. Using a series of guidelines, facilitate conversations about healthy eating. Students will construct a healthy eating plan at the end of the lesson.

Learning Objectives

After this lesson, students will be able to:

  • identify and describe healthy eating habits
  • build a healthy meal that follows the MyPlate dietary guidelines

30-60 minutes
