Home Alone Safety Lesson Plan

Jenn has been an educator for 10 years. She has a master's degree in Teacher Leadership and a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and English Language Acquisition.

In this lesson plan, students will learn how to stay safe when they are home alone. They will learn tips and strategies and complete a role-playing activity to demonstrate their understanding.

Learning Objectives

Students will be able to:

  • utilize strategies to remain safe while they are home alone
  • practice and prepare for situations that may arise while they are home alone
  • create a plan to be safer while home alone
