This lesson will explain how to make full use of the Study.com mobile app to take and study for college courses on the go. This tutorial will have you using the app in no time!

One of the biggest advantages of taking Study.com courses is the ability to study on your own time. With Study.com's mobile app, available on smartphones and tablets, not only can you study at any time, but you can study anywhere. The app is available for download on the iOS App Store and Google Play and, good news, it's absolutely free!

Once you download the app, you'll be prompted to sign up or log in. The 'Home' tab on the mobile app is the equivalent of your desktop dashboard. Any courses you are enrolled in will be visible under 'My Courses.' You'll also be able to see recently viewed lessons. This information transfers seamlessly between the app and the desktop versions of Study.com.

To find a course, you can tap 'Browse Courses' on the 'Home' tab, search in the 'Search' tab, or browse by subject, level, or goal under the 'Courses' tab.

Once you find the course you're looking for, you can enroll in the course by tapping 'Start course.' This will allow you to track your course progress on your dashboard. And, again, any progress made on the mobile app will be reflected on desktop and vice versa.

If the course you enroll in has a placement test, which will be indicated on the course page, we highly recommend you take it. They will allow you to test out of having to take certain lessons and quizzes in the course that cover concepts you have already mastered.
