Integrating Quotes Lesson Plan

Tammy teaches business courses at the post-secondary and secondary level and has a master's of business administration in finance.

With this lesson plan, teachers will explain how to use quotations and the reasons to credit sources. Students will watch a video, participate in discussion questions, take a quiz and complete an activity.

  • Compare and contrast paraphrasing and summarization
  • Explain the importance of crediting sources
  • Understand the ways to incorporate quotes into writing
