Ladybugs have a fascinating appearance. Your students will have an interesting learning experience as they watch a video, draw ladybug life cycle diagrams and take a quiz to learn about the ladybug life cycle.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • identify the stages of the ladybug life cycle
  • describe what takes place in each stage of the ladybug life cycle

1.5 - 2 hours

Curriculum Standards

HS-LS1-2. Develop and use a model to illustrate the hierarchical organization of interacting systems that provide specific functions within multicellular organisms.
