Mealworms Lesson Plan for Elementary School

Use this lesson plan to help your students learn about mealworms. Students will read a text lesson, create a graphic organizer, discuss the life cycle of the darkling beetle, and write a creative story about the life of a mealworm.

After this lesson, students will be able to:

  • define mealworm.
  • describe the stages of the life cycle of the darkling beetle.
