In Book 12 of Homer's The Odyssey, Odysseus travels from Aeaea to Ogygia, encountering multiple obstacles along the way. As students are reading this section of The Odyssey, they will find a great deal of symbolism, allusions to Greek mythology, and make some connections to religion and life.
