Of Mice and Men Chapter 2 Questions

Instructor: Jason Lineberger

Jason has 20 years of education experience including 14 years of teaching college literature.

Looking for questions on Of Mice and Men that you can use to start a discussion, or add to a quiz? This lesson contains two sets of questions to meet your needs, from a quick reading check to a test essay prompt.

Chapter 2 Questions

The questions listed below fall into two categories. The first category contains factual, recall questions. These will center around plot details, characters, and setting. Students should have a solid understanding of the material covered in the first section before proceeding on to the second, which holds higher order questions. Those push students to analyze, make connections, debate, and evaluate. You can use the questions in the second section to get the whole class talking, to focus a small group discussion, or to assess their understanding of the bigger issues presented in Steinbeck's short novel.
