Of Mice and Men Chapter 4 Questions

Instructor: Jason Lineberger

Jason has 20 years of education experience including 14 years of teaching college literature.

If you're using Steinbeck's 'Of Mice and Men' in your class, then you may need some quality questions to go with it. This lesson contains questions that could be used to check student comprehension or drive a class debate.

Chapter 4

The questions below are organized into two categories. The first category deals with characters, events, and settings - the more concrete details of the novel. These questions are best used to either guide student reading or to check for understanding. The second set opens up higher order thinking skills, such as analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. These questions could be used for a class discussion, a debate, or to focus the thinking of a small group.
