This checklist will help you create a meeting agenda that will ensure you have a successful meeting. Here, we'll cover the essential tasks needed prior to the meeting.

What Makes a Good Meeting?

Picture the worst meeting you've ever been in. Probably, you didn't accomplish very much and people were disengaged or even upset. Now, imagine the best meeting you've ever been a part of. What's the difference? You might be thinking of how organized it was, how things got accomplished, everyone felt respected, and the group stayed on task. These are all characteristics of a good meeting. So, how do you recreate these positive meetings for yourself?

In the lesson Creating a Practical Meeting Agenda you learned about the importance of a good meeting agenda. A meeting agenda is one of the crucial steps to ensure that all of those characteristics of a good meeting happen. Here, we'll be going over a checklist that you can print and use to make sure your meeting agenda is on point and your meeting is productive.
