Renewable & Nonrenewable Resources Lesson Plan

What do your students know about renewable and nonrenewable resources? In this lesson plan, a video lesson will present the facts, a quiz will measure understanding, and an activity puts it all in practice. Extensions and related lessons offer opportunities for deeper study.

  • distinguish between and provide examples of renewable and nonrenewable resources
  • analyze personal consumption of resources

Compare and contrast the information gained from experiments, simulations, video, or multimedia sources with that gained from reading a text on the same topic.
