Students are sure to remember reading several of Roald Dahl's childhood novels. Students will learn more about Dahl in this lesson plan where they will read a lesson, answer discussion prompts, complete an activity, and take a quiz.

  • discuss Roald Dahl's childhood and its impact on his writing career
  • describe how Roald started his writing career
  • explore Roald's writing style and his target audience
