In 1998, Disney produced the movie Ruby Bridges as a movie made for television. The movie is based on the early life of Ruby Bridges and focuses on the 1960 school year when Bridges was the first black student to attend William Frantz Public School in Louisiana. The film is appropriate for students of all ages. Use these discussion questions after watching the film to help students think critically about the events in the movie.
