When we think of a superhero, we usually envision a cape, super strength and maybe even the ability to fly. Can any regular person become a superhero? That very question arises in Elijah the Superhero by Beth Arnold. Elijah is just a normal boy, but he begins to turn himself into a superhero through kind acts. Whether it be feeding the homeless, participating in a recycling effort or just being a good and helpful person, Elijah is chipping away at superhero status. The positive message of this book will make it a favorite for any young superhero fan.
