This video will introduce students to the names of the main meals of the day, as well as foods that one might eat for each meal. The vocabulary is presented through a conversation between friends.

Introduction

Hola! In this video, we will peek in on three friends discussing what they like and don't like to eat for each meal. Pay attention to their conversations to learn some helpful food vocabulary in Spanish.

Breakfast

Carla: Para el desayuno, me gusta comer los huevos.

Sofía: A mí también me gustan los huevos. Y me gusta beber el café con mis huevos.

Manuel: No me gustan los huevos. Para el desayuno, me gusta el cereal con la leche. También, me gusta el pan con la mantequilla.

Carla: Yo prefiero el pan tostado. Y me gusta mucho el tocino.

Lunch

Sofía: Para el almuerzo, me gusta comer el bocadillo. Me gusta el bocadillo con el jamón.

Manuel: A mí me gustan los bocadillos con el queso. También, me gusta comer la ensalada con el aguacate.

Carla: No me gustan las ensaladas. Yo prefiero la hamburguesa con las papas fritas. Mmmmmm!

Sofía: A mí también me gusta la hamburguesa. También, me gusta la pizza. Y para beber, el refresco.

Dinner

Manuel: Para la cena, me gusta comer el bistec. Y con mi bistec, me gusta beber el vino.
