Sweatshops Lesson Plan

Tammy teaches business courses at the post-secondary and secondary level and has a master's of business administration in finance.

Most students believe horrific working conditions are a thing of the past. However, they'll learn the conditions still exist today in sweatshops. Students will read a lesson about sweatshops, answer questions, complete an activity and take a quiz.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this lesson, students should be able to:

  • explain the history of sweatshops
  • discuss sweatshop violations
  • describe tragedies that have occurred in sweatshops
