Technology is a central part of life these days. Help students better understand the importance of technology and how to use it appropriately with these high school project ideas.

High School Technology Projects

The way we interact with and understand technology largely dictates the way we live our lives. When you consider that technology includes everything from computers to dining room tables, it's hard to imagine living without it. As technology improves, the day-to-day lives of humans across the world change. Help your students appreciate how technology has shaped our world, and prepare them to take their place as digital citizens with these ideas for technology projects.

Technological Advancements Project

One way to appreciate technology is to understand how it has advanced across history and how quickly. For this project, assign a different type of technology to each small group of students. For example, one group could be assigned computers or games consoles, another could be assigned travel technology, yet another could be assigned domestic cleaning technology, and another could be assigned information storage (records, cassettes, CDs, solid-state electronics, etc.)
