Termites Lesson Plan

Kerry has been a teacher and an administrator for more than twenty years. She has a Master of Education degree.

This lesson plan will help you teach your students about various types of termites. Students will learn about the roles various termites fulfill to keep their colonies strong.

Learning Objectives

After this lesson students will be able to:

  • Differentiate between types of termites
  • Explain the roles that termites play within the colony
  • Describe the benefits and detriments of termites in an ecosystem

Length

This lesson will take approximately 45-90 minutes.
