The Beatles Revolution Song Lesson Plan

Mary Beth has taught 1st, 4th and 5th grade and has a specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She is currently an assistant principal.

In this lesson plan, students will examine an informational text about 'Revolution' by the Beatles. After engaging in a class discussion, they will create an artistic piece and lyrical piece inspired by the song.

By the end of grade 9, read and comprehend literary nonfiction in the grades 9-10 text complexity band proficiently, with scaffolding as needed at the high end of the range. By the end of grade 10, read and comprehend literary nonfiction at the high end of the grades 9-10 text complexity band independently and proficiently.
