'The Pardoner's Tale'

''The Pardoner's Tale'' is one of the stories in Geoffrey Chaucer's 14th-century The Canterbury Tales, one of the most important surviving works from this period in English history. The story features a narrator who is very aware of their sinful ways, but unlike other narrators, doesn't feel bad about it at all. This should be an entertaining read for your students, independently as well as within the greater context of The Canterbury Tales. The following questions can help you guide your students through a class discussion on this story, its plot, and its themes.
