Theatre Voice Lesson Plan

Chris has a master's degree in history and teaches at the University of Northern Colorado.

With this lesson plan, your students are going to learn about the parts of the body that control vocal projection as well as techniques to enhance projection. They will use tongue twisters to put this into practice.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • Explain the role of proper posture and breathing for vocal projection
  • Identify basic parts of the body that control vocal projection
  • Demonstrate vocal projection techniques
