Taking the GED Practice Tests
When searching for free GED Practice exams, you will want to make sure you cover all areas of the GED: Reading Through Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science. The sites we have recommended below cover all of the areas you will find on the actual GED exam.
Union Test Prep
Simple and to the point, the Union Test Prep website lets you dive right into their four separate GED practice exams, one in each subject. All of the questions you see are given in multiple-choice format, and there are explanations provided for each of the correct answers.
GED Testing Service
GED Testing Service provides a free practice version of the test along with computerized tutorials on the format. As an added convenience, every practice exam is available to download as a ZIP file, along with extended discussions on the correct responses for questions.
On Test-Guide.com, you can find practice exams for every section, including ten different English exams and two Math exams, the latter of which is randomized every time you retake it.
For five days, new registrants of Study.com can access the practice quizzes contained in the GED Study Guide for free. Almost all of the chapters contain their own self-assessment exam that covers all of the lessons, and one cumulative final test is also provided when you finish the course.
