How to Activate a Group Plan Account

Instructor: Eric Chase
If you have a group plan license code from your employer or school, then you'll need to know how to activate your account! This video will guide you through the simple process of using your code to create or re-activate your account.

Hello! In this video, you'll learn how to activate an account purchased for you by your organization.

Activating Your Account for the First Time

The process for activating an account is a little different from registering for a regular account. First, you'll need two things: A unique license code from your organization, usually a school or employer, and an email address. Without a unique license code, you will not be able to activate your account. You will probably receive this code in an email from your school or employer.

If you've never had a account before, then you'll need to access a specific page to activate your account, which you can find at the following URL:

Your organization will provide you with a link to this page when they send your unique license code. It's important to type in your unique license code exactly, so we recommend copying and pasting it in.

If you typed in your code correctly, you'll see a new page, where you can enter in your email and create a password for your account. If possible, use an email address associated with you and your organization.

Next, create your password associated with the account. No one else will have access to your password, so make sure to write it down.

You're done! Now you can browse some courses, explore your dashboard, and start learning!

Reactivating a Previous Account

If you have an expired account, you can use your unique license code to reactivate that account.

First, log in to After you've logged in, you'll see an 'Activate Your Account' page.

Near the bottom, you'll find a link that allows you to use your license code. Simply enter your code in the box that appears, and click submit. It's that simple.

And that's it! Whether you're a new or returning member, your account is now ready to use.
