Duplicating Assignments from One Classroom to Another

Then, you will be asked to select the due date for the first assignment of the set that your are duplicating, and the number of days you would like students to have to complete each assignment.

From that information, Study.com will automatically calculate due dates for the rest of the assignment. Dates will cascade so that your assignments are staggered into the future.

The system will replicate the same duration between assignments that the first classroom had. So if you want all the dates to be exactly the same - just select the same first due date.

After you finish duplicating, you can always go back and edit individual due dates manually by clicking the three dots on the right hand side of each assignment and selecting 'view assignment', and editing the due date from there.

Archiving Classrooms

Archiving a classroom means that you are moving the classroom down the page. You may want to do this for a few reasons, such as keeping a record of assignments and grades from an old class. It will also help declutter your classroom view.

You can archive a classroom by clicking the 'edit' button on a particular classroom in the classroom view, then selecting 'archive'. This will save your assignment and grade data for later.
