How to Set Up a Class and Invite Students in Your Study.com Virtual Classroom

Instructor: Daisy Rogozinsky
Learn how to quickly and easily set up a classroom and invite your students using Study.com's Virtual Classrooms.

With Study.com, creating Virtual Classrooms is easy!

You can create your Virtual Classroom from your Dashboard or from a lesson page. Just click create classroom and give your classroom a name.

From there, you can invite students to join your new classroom using one of three methods.

The first method is to enter a list of student email addresses. Study.com will send an invitation to the emails you provide. This is a great option if you have a list of email addresses handy, or only need to invite one or two students.

The second option is to use an invitation link. After creating a classroom on your Dashboard, click add students and copy the invitation link you are given. You can post this classroom invitation link to your learning management system or email it to your class.

With both of these options, your students can create accounts on their own time at no cost to them. All they need to provide is a name, email address, and password.

If your students already have an account, they can log in and use a class code to join your class. When you create a classroom from your Dashboard, you will receive a corresponding class code. Your students can input this code on their dashboard.

And that's it! You've got a Virtual Classroom with anywhere from one to fifty students.
