Instructor: Laura Leftwich
Watch this video to learn how to use Study.com to improve your grades. From homework help to studying to supplementing your classes, there are many ways our videos can help you with your learning and help you boost your test scores.

Hello! In this video we'll give you a few suggestions on how Study.com can help you improve your grades in school. Whether you're preparing for an upcoming test, or want an extra resource as you take a class, we've got you covered with our fun and easy to understand content.

Study for an Exam

Are you studying for an upcoming unit test or exam? We can help! First find the course you are taking. You can also use subject filters to find the course you're looking for faster. For example, say you're taking a class in anatomy. Click on the science filter to display only science courses, and then look for the course titled anatomy. Another way to find a course quickly is to search for the class you're taking in the search bar.

Each course is split up into different chapters, and each of those chapters contains short, animated video lessons. Skim through the different chapter titles until you find the topic your test is on. Then go to each lesson and watch the lesson. Afterwards you can check to see how much you've remembered by taking the quiz associated with each lesson.

Here are a couple of quick strategies we use to help us study for a test:

• Watch a video or read the article in its entirety first, then go through it again while taking notes in a notebook.

• Take each of the quizzes. If you make a mistake, watch the part of the video that covers that quiz question, or skim through our video transcripts.

• Take the practice chapter exams or final exam to test your mastery of all the material

Homework Help

You can use Study.com to help you with your homework too! Are you having troubles remembering everything your instructor talked about in class? Maybe you're stuck on an assigned practice question, or you just want a bit more background information on the content you're learning. Type the topic into the search bar and find one of our lessons on the subject. Watch or read a few of our relevant videos and articles. Once you're feeling more comfortable with the material, check to see how much you've learned by answering some of our quiz questions!

Supplement your Classes

Our videos can also help you supplement your classes. After you've attended class, find the corresponding lesson in the course and go through our content on it. Once you've gone through the lesson, check how much you've learned by taking a quiz. This is a great alternative to tutoring because you can learn on your own time and pace. And if you need extra help, just ask our expert instructors, who can give you personalized help and guidance.

Be sure to review the content multiple times throughout the course. For example, review the content you learned in this week's classes as well as last weeks. The more frequently you review, the easier it will be to remember.
