Praxis Availability in Tennessee

The Praxis Core tests are offered on a continuous basis in the state of Tennessee. The Principles of Learning and Teaching exams for grades K-6 and 7-12 are offered in monthly testing windows, while the Principles of Learning and Teaching exams for early childhood and grades 5-9 are available in eight testing windows per year.

The Praxis subject assessments have designated testing windows throughout the year. Several subject exams (such as biology, chemistry, and business education) offer testing windows monthly, while others (like economics, technology education, and foreign languages) only offer testing windows four times per year.
