TEAS Exam Fees & Where to Pay
If you are required to take the TEAS exam in order to be accepted to a postsecondary health science or nursing program, you are required to pay the test fees to take the test. TEAS fees are not included in the application fees that you will pay when applying to the college or university of your choice. The TEAS exam price can vary depending on your testing site (e.g., a college, university or an ATI testing site) as well as the ATI. You will find out the exact amount that you will have to pay during test registration.
Although you may be able to take your TEAS test at the college or university you are applying to, payment for the test must be made through the ATI TEAS website. You will be required to create an account and register there. Once you do this, you will be able to schedule and pay for the TEAS test.
Accepted Payment Methods
Both credit and debit cards can be used to pay for the test fees online. You should ensure that you have a valid debit or credit card that you can use when you register for the test.
Score results are automatically sent to the college or university that you chose during registration. In some cases, you might want to send your scores to additional institutions. If this is the case, you will need to pay an additional fee to have a copy of the transcript sent to that school. The cost for ordering a transcript is $27.
Forfeiting Testing Fees
In some cases, an individual might have to forfeit their test fees and be required to pay the full price to take the test. Reasons test fees may be forfeited include:
- Failing to comply with test site rules
- Arriving late on test day
- Missing your test
