Where to Take the TEAS Exam in California

If you need to take the TEAS exam in California, you can register to take it at a PSI exam center. PSI has testing sites in California in the following locations:

How to Select a Test Site

Every individual who is taking the TEAS exam is required to register on the ATI Testing website. During the registration process, you can select both the state and city where you wish to take your exam.

When to Arrive

The PSI test sites require that all individuals registered to take a test be present at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for the exam. If you are not present 30 minutes before the test time, you might not be admitted to the exam.

What to Bring to California Test Sites

There are very specific items you need to have with you on exam day.

Accepted Identification

To take the TEAS test, you must show ID that has your photograph on it. It must also show your signature and home address. Only identification that has been issued by the government is accepted. Examples of acceptable forms of ID include passports and green cards.

Pencils

You must bring 2 No. 2 pencils with you to the testing site, and they must be sharpened before arriving. These pencils must also have erasers attached to them.

Student Account Log-in Information

In order to take the online version of the TEAS test, it is necessary to create a student account before test day. You will need to bring your log-in information with you on test day so you can log on and take the test.

What not to Bring

TEAS test sites do not provide lockers or supervised areas where people can securely leave personal items. It is important to know what you are not allowed to have with you so that you can secure these items in your car or leave them at home on exam day. Prohibited items include:
