The California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) are prerequisite exams that must be taken by an educator who wants to become a certified teacher in California. Find out when you can take the CSET Math exam and learn how to be successful on all of the required CSET Math subtests.

The CSET exam in math is administered at testing centers by appointment throughout the year, except for on Sundays and some holidays. You can perform a search on the official CSET site to see when the CSET Math exam will be available at a testing center near you. In order to actually schedule a test date, you will need to create an account on the site.

When you sign up for testing, there will be a fee of $99 for each of the three CSET Math subtests. Accepted forms of payment include only debit, credit and check cards. If you end up needing to change your registration, you will be able to do so at no charge.
