The Center for Change

The Center for Change is a licensed specialty psychiatric hospital in Utah that works to help patients suffering from eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission and was established in 1994. The center supports patients of all ages with experts in the treatment of the above-mentioned disorders.

Center for Change Treatments

This organization offers inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, independent living and outpatient treatment programs to help those dealing with eating disorders. These programs offer the following forms of treatment:

  • Working one on one with medical professionals, psychiatrists, clinical therapists, dietitians, registered nurses and care techs
  • Specialized therapy groups, including experiential therapies
  • Spirituality classes
  • Family therapy
  • Service, leisure, recreational and therapeutic exercise activities

The organization also includes certified teachers who provide instruction for adolescents staying at the center.

Patients can be admitted to the center after speaking with a therapist associated with the organization and filling out an online admissions application. Insurance information is required. Additionally, the Center serves as a TRICARE provider and can offer treatment to members of the military, as well as their families.
