You'll define and analyze markers such as the Gross Domestic Product and the Consumer Price Index. You'll also analyze and measure the unemployment rate. By the end of this chapter you will be able to:

  • Explain the inflation rate and how to calculate it
  • Calculate real Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
  • Compare and contrast the differences and significance of short vs. long term interest rates
