• Lines, points and angles in geometry
• Properties of shapes and right triangles
• Use of the Pythagorean theorem
• Obtuse, complementary, interior, alternate, supplementary, straight, corresponding and vertical angles
• Perimeter and area of triangles and rectangles, and the circumference and area of circles

Maybe you'd rather read all your lessons instead of watching video presentations? We've got you covered, with full lesson transcripts for all. If you run into any questions not answered within the lessons, contact our subject-matter experts for further clarification. By taking the short quiz that follows each lesson, in addition to the brief chapter test, you'll know right away if any topics require more attention before you tackle the ASVAB.

### ASVAB: Geometry & Algebra Objectives

There are two math sub-tests of the ten appearing on the ASVAB. These are especially important, since they're also two of the four that will determine your eligibility for enlistment. The Arithmetic Reasoning portion assesses your competencies in solving math word problems, and the Mathematics Knowledge section checks your skills related to high school math principles. You can take the complete battery on a computer or with pencil and paper, and our multiple-choice assessments give you valuable practice for test day.
