Basic Math Operations & Mental Math - Chapter Summary
Our instructors will review the basics of arithmetic by teaching you how to perform both addition and subtraction. Once you have mastered how to do these equations on paper, you will learn how to perform them in your head using mental math. Lessons on performing multiplication and double digit multiplication follow, including a special lesson on strategies for successfully completing double digit multiplication problems.
A lesson on long division and special tips and tricks for performing long division problems that contain large numbers will also be presented in one of the chapter's lessons. The chapter also has a lesson with instructions on how to use mental math to solve multiplication and division problems. After you have completed these lessons, you should be able to:
