Objectives for the CEOE Business Education: Hiring & Staffing chapter

The State of Oklahoma uses the CEOE (Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators) Business Education test for certification or endorsement of aspiring business teachers. It is a computer-based test that includes 81 questions. One will be a constructed-response assignment for which you'll have to write the answer and accounts for 15% of the total score. The rest are selected-response questions (e.g. multiple-choice) and are subdivided into 5 sub-areas.

The first sub-area is business management and is where you're most likely to find questions about hiring and staffing; this area makes up 25% of the test and includes the constructed-response question. This section may assess your familiarity with principles and procedures related to staffing; the role of human resource management within a business; the methods and significance of training and staff development and the basics of equal opportunity and disability laws.
