In this lesson, we explore the philosophical, religious, and cultural effects of the Scientific Revolution on Early Modern society - effects that forever changed the Western view of the universe and humanity's place within it.

Personal beliefs are one thing that people hold to very tightly. However, over time, with enough scientific evidence, a critical eye and consistent experiments, science can and does change people's beliefs in ways that simple observations cannot.

Natural sciences use the scientific method to investigate concepts and ideas. This lesson will review the many types of career options and coursework a student of science can expect.
8. What Are Natural Resources? - Definition & Types
Natural resources are materials provided by the Earth that humans can use to make more complex (human-made) products. In this lesson, you will learn some examples of natural resources and how to classify them.
