Understanding Reference Materials Objectives

The Discover Health Occupations Readiness test is used to assess the academic readiness of students to enter various healthcare education programs. This Understanding Reference Materials chapter covers topics that are found in the Informational Source Comprehension portion of the exam, which is in the Reading section. The Informational Source Comprehension portion contains eleven questions, which is 15% of the total exam. Other areas tested include mathematics, science, and English and language usage.

This exam is made up of four-option multiple-choice questions. There are 85 questions in all, and 105 minutes are given to complete the test.
